Tera Rials Cummins, 95, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Born in Jacksonville, Texas, on February 6, 1928, she was the daughter of James Masters and Lela Weisinger Masters. Tera had a love for travel and exploring new places. She also had a talent for baking pies and making candy. Friends and family were often treated to delicious homemade sweets that brought smiles to their faces. A true fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Tera's enthusiasm for football was infectious. Tera's faith was an essential part of her life, as she was an active member of Mauriceville Methodist Church and was an integral part of the High Milers Sunday School Class. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lela Masters; her husbands, Herbert E. Cummins, and Floyd R. Rials; and her brothers, J.D., Cab, and Mace Masters.
She is survived by her son, Rickey Cummins of Beaumont, Texas; her daughter, Denise Cummins and spouse, Brenda Macal of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchild, G.W. Smith and wife, Kathy of Fannett, Texas; her great-grandchild, Kamryn Smith; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
