I met Terry in junior high---and my memory of him will be that of a kind friend with an enormous heart and a wonderful laugh. Although we lost touch over the years, I've never forgotten him. My deepest sympathy to Jerry, Emily, and his family.

I was extremely shocked to hear the news about Terry. With our mothers being sisters, we had a special bond as cousins. I loved the times that our families would get together when we were kids. Jerry and Terry got me into more trouble than I can talk about! I'm sorry that we had lost touch with each other over the years, but I am grateful for all of the fun we had together growing up. He was a blessing in my life, and I am so thankful that our mothers brought us together. I pray that God would bring peace and comfort to your family.

Absolutely crushed to hear this. Terry was my mentor at Diamond EMS and one of the funniest people I've ever known - to this day, I am still sharing stories about something he did or said. More importantly, he made an impact on more people's lives than can be measured. When I was helping take care of my uncle, I could call Terry and he would help in any way possible - including leaving Mid-Jeff to come help turn my uncle or get him out of bed. I remember telling him during one of those times that my uncle had been such a strong guy and how much we hated seeing him debilitated after a stroke. Terry replied, "You know - as we get older...we forget that they get older too." The impact he made on the community of EMS and fire workers in our county cannot be overstated. You will be missed, my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Terry's family.
