Terry Anne Tyler Savoy

Terry Anne Tyler Savoy, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on April 19, 1949, in Richmond, Virginia, Terry touched the lives of many with her kindness, creativity, and dedication to her family.

Terry was a devoted wife to her late husband, Steven Joseph Savoy, with whom she shared twelve cherished years. She was the loving daughter of James Edward Tyler and Elizabeth Anne Williams Reeves, who preceded her in death. Terry also experienced the profound loss of two brothers, Baby Tyler and Michael J. Tyler.

In her professional life, Terry was the owner and operator of Terry's Grandma's House, where she created a nurturing environment. Her instincts as a caregiver extended to her career as a registered nurse, a role through which she exemplified compassion and dedication to others. Among her proudest accomplishments was her work in TDCJ as a Nurse, also teaching CCD at St. Peter Catholic Church, where she instilled faith and values in the youths of her parish.

Terry's warm spirit and love for nature were evident in her many pastimes. She found joy with plants and gardening and pottery. Those who knew her will remember her fondly as someone who delighted in watching sunsets and sharing old stories, bringing a sense of nostalgia and connection to all who gathered around her.

Above all, Terry was a dedicated caregiver to her dogs and cats, showering them with love and affection. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family and into the lives of many, as she built lasting memories with her loved ones.

Surviving Terry are her cherished sons, Clifton B. Simoneaux and his wife Robin, Brian T. Simoneaux, and Darren J. Savoy and his wife Lisa. She is also survived by her sister, Linda K. McBride and her husband Pat; brothers, David E. Reeves and his wife Rose, Daniel W. Reeves, Richard H. Reeves and his wife Linda, and Michael N. Reeves. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brandon Simoneaux, Olivia Kirby, Timothy Simoneaux, Lily Savoy, and Kaylee Savoy. Additional family members include her aunt, Cathy Colmer and her husband Mark, as well as her beloved cousin, Vicky St. John, as well as countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry Anne Tyler Savoy will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her generosity, creativity, and unwavering love for her family and community create a lasting legacy that will live on in the hearts of many. May she rest in eternal peace.
