Thelma Mae Nance Haggard Thelma Mae Nance Haggard, 87, of Port Neches went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born April 16, 1924 in Port Arthur, Texas to Harvey Nance and Mary Mason Nance. Thelma was a lifelong resident of this area and member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches. She had been a cashier at Dryden's in Groves. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz of First Baptist Church in Port Neches officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Thelma is survived by her husband, Audney R. "Rudy" Haggard of Port Neches, two daughters, Mary Smith and husband, Sammy of Fannett, and Joni Claire Woodward and husband, Jeff of Port Neches, sister, Bettye Vaughan of Port Neches, five grandchildren, Lee Smith and wife, Taryn, Teresa Warren, Amanda Jaetzold and husband Josh, Jeff Woodward, and Rudy Woodward and wife, Diana and five great grandchildren, Chase Warren, Chelsey Warren, Kesler Jaetzold, Kenzie Jaetzold, and Colten Smith.
