Thelma Lakey, 89, of Lumberton, Texas formerly of Port Neches, Texas died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her home in Lumberton, Texas. Thelma was born May 5, 1924 in Big Spring, Texas to Sam Miller and Maude Foster Miller. She was a resident of the Mid County Area before moving to Lumberton, Texas three years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Proctor Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Janis McAdoo of Lumberton, Texas; Lena Johnson of Buna, Texas; son, Nathain Lakey of Oklahoma; and 5 grandchildren. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches.
