Theresa Kay Tankersley, 43, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, October 10, 2011. Theresa was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 22, 1968 to Robert Eugene and Beverly Lovell Stoffer. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Val Verde Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Beverly Deshazo of Groves, TX; three sons, Ricky R. Reed and wife, Courtney of Groves, TX, Randal R. Reed and wife, Becca of Fort Riley, KS, Brandon Tankersley of Groves, TX; sister, Tina Landry and husband, Dale of Groves, TX; brother, Tim Stoffer and wife, Heather of Groves, TX; three grandchildren, Casen Reed, Peyton Boyd and Breona Tankersley; grandparents, Beve Lovell and Elinor Stoffer.

Dear family, we share your sorrow of Theresa's passing and know she is in the presents of God. She is in the arms of Jesus. Theresa is happy and free of the pain she was in for so many years, she has a new body. One day we will all be sitting at Jesus' feet with Theresa. Theresa is not gone because she is and always will be in your heart. Cry now but soon you will smile when you think of her because you know just how happy she is. theresa, we have known each other all these years & had just really started hanging out. Thank You for the wonderful memories we will have.You were a good hearted person & will be sorely missed.
