To all of Mr. Chance's family, especially the wonderful ones I had the absolute pleasure to get to know here at Vidor Health and Rehab. Please know what an honor it was to have had the opportunity to be with and feel the sweet spirit of the wonderful man you all called father, husband, etc. Those of you I was able to meet and be with are some of the most loving family I have met in my many years working in geriatrics. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of this wonderful man. I know you miss him dearly. I pray that Heavenly Father will send you His Comforter and that soon you will be able to smile again and find peace in the wonderful memories you have of this wonderful man. Sincerly, Charles Wynkoop

I will always picture your dad with a smile on his face, and as someone who was quick to laugh. As a kid, I thought he was the strongest man in the world. He could carry us 4 girls like we were rag dolls. He built quite a loving, beautiful family on those big, strong shoulders. Love to all.

As a teenager I had the pleasure of being a part of the Chance household due to my friendship with Robbie. Mr. Chance always had a smile on his face and loved giving hugs away to "all the pretty girls". He was more than just a friend's Dad, he was like a 2nd Dad to me. As the years went by I would see him from time to time and always address him as Mr. Chance. He told me one day, you are old enough to call me Ron...somehow that just never rolled off my tongue. Robbie, Kristie, & Ginger you were some lucky girls to have a Dad like yours. May God bless and comfort each of you in the days ahead. May you find peace in knowing he is no longer in pain, heaven gained a great mechanic, and each of you have a special guardian angel watching over you. Love to all.
