Thomas Issac Cotten, 80, of Port Neches, Texas died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his residence. Thomas was born October 11, 1930 in Marthaville, Louisiana to Richard Newton Cotten and Elma Cordova Cotten. He was a 42 year resident of Port Neches and a member of First United Methodist Church Port Neches. Thomas was a retired Air Traffic Controller with the US Government FAA and was also an US Air Force Veteran with Military Honors. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Peter Cammarano officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Surviving relatives include his wife, Freddie Johnson Cotten of Port Neches, Texas; daughters, Deborah Graham and husband, Gary of Shreveport, Louisiana; Linda Carr and husband, Ray of Port Neches, Texas; son, Timothy Cotten and wife, Catherine of Payson, Arizona; sister, Jessie Jean Berry and husband, W.F. of DeQuincy, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
