Thomas "Tommy" Duhon

Thomas “Tommy” Duhon, 77, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on May 19, 1937 in Kaplan, LA to the late Leonce Duhon and Edna Broussard. He worked as a butcher in the retail grocery business. He served his country in the U. S. Army.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Carrie Weeks Duhon of Nederland; son, John W. Duhon of Nederland; grandsons, John Glenn Duhon and Thomas Wayne Duhon of Nederland. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home, with Msg. Dan Malain officiating, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
