Thomas John Elizondo, 71, of Sour Lake, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his residence in Sour Lake.

Funeral Services will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

Thomas was born on July 14, 1951 in Port Athur, Texas. He was the son of Johnny Elizondo and Eppie Moreno. He was married to Darlene Elizondo for forty-one years. He worked as a Claims Investigator for Energy.

He was preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Elizondo.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Elizondo of Sour Lake; son, Gary Richard and wife Jennifer of Woodville; Josh Elizonda and wife Michelle of El Paso; Alex Boushka and wife Jennifer of El Paso; Kyle Elizondo; eight grandchildren, Taylor Cowart, Mason Richard, Kersten Lara, Grady Boushka, Cole Boushks, Jake Boushka, Julie Boushka, and Skylar Elizondo; sisters, Irene Cooper of Nederland; Gloria Elizondo of Austin; Mary Helen Elizondo of Austin; Cathy Hammond and husband Tim of Crystal Beach; brother, Steve Elizondo and wife Jami of Raliegh, NC.
