Thomas Wayne Hawkins, 52, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Cascades of Port Arthur.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on August 16, 1969, he was the son of Thomas Howard Pinkerton and Frances Hawkins. Thomas lived in the area for fifteen years and owned his own contracting company, Hawkins Contracting. He also worked as an apartment manager. He was a history enthusiast, enjoyed making models and painting miniature figures. Thomas also had train sets that he and his grandsons played with.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandfather, James Allen Hawkins.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Ann Hawkins of Groves; daughter, Lauren Acord and husband Rodney of El Paso; two grandchildren, Jack Acord and Anthony Acord; brother, David Shock; niece, Harley Philley and nephew Skyler Philley.
