Tommy was a good friend & neighbor of my family for many years. He visited my folks frequently to discuss politics & spoil the Chow dog to no end. As soon as he sat down the 30 pound dog jumped in his lap and he gave him a rub down till he left a few hours later. After the discussion of differing politics, he would leave with a smile. No matter the differing opinions we could always count on him to help if needed. I am happy I took time on a visit last year to reach out to him just to let him know I was thinking of him. My condolences to the Family. Tommy rest in peace dear friend⚘

I had the pleasure of working with Tommy at Oldcastle. We used to talk about cars, guns, things he did and everything in between. He was a smart man and knew his trade. I use to laugh when he would tell customers his famous line " I don't give a #^€%". I quote him all the time. I miss my friend. He was my buddy.

I have often thought of Tommy over the years of my lifetime and just found his obituary. I remember him with much fondness. We were silly teenagers once, and that memory has lasted me a lifetime. Life took me away from the Texas Coast, so I never had another chance to tell him what a great guy he was. May his memory always be a blessing to his family and all who loved him. Kathy (Wolf)

I first met Tommy and his brother Ricky, when they first moved to Locust St., in Fairley Addition, Port Arthur. I think we were about twelve years old. (about 1955) . He was a great classmate at Groves Jr. High and at PN-G High School. Always a very smart person and was well like by all who knew him. A favorite in the class politics, usually class president. Very good natured and always had a smile and a laugh that would make you laugh. RIP Tommy. You will surely be missed by all of us. My sincere condolence to all of his family.

I have known Tommy for many years. I cared for him deeply. He was a long time friend to my family and a special friend to my mother. I spent many Saturday nights having dinner with the two of them. He was such a gentleman to me. He opened my doors and escorted us in. He spoke highly of his children and family. I live out of town and am unable to attend the service. I loved him and just wanted to let his family know they are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a good friend and served his community well as a member of the NISD schools board. He will be missed by many.

We were Tommy’s neighbors for 6.5 years. I would mow his yard while he was working in Houston during the week. He would always stop by when he got back in town to let us know he was back safe and come say bye before he left. He was so kind to my family. He will be missed dearly. Tommy’s family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Steve and Scott, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I guess I met Tommy at Steve and Regina's wedding rehearsal dinner and only saw him at a few family functions over the years. He was always very polite and pleasant to be around. He came to Steve's 40th birthday party at our house. Although this is not a fun memory, and I did not see it happen, I was told later that Tommy was talking to some people in the dining room with his back to the step-down into the den. He took a step backward and fell. I felt so terrible about that, luckily he wasn't hurt. The nice memory I have is of him taking pictures at the wedding. That was a very sweet thing for him to do. Always remember the happy times with him and cherish those memories. Janie Bonds

My dear brother, May you find eternal rest in the arms of your Heavenly Father.Loving you always and will miss our political discussions. My favorite memory of you was the picture of you and Lassie. The story goes this way...at 5years old you found a dog wondering the neighborhood and decided she was yours in secret. You hid her in the detached garage for a week, bringing her food and water daily. She became part of our family for sixteen years. What a kind and compassionate soul you had at 5years old.One of your favorite hobbies was to design and draw cars...what talent you had.I hoped that you knew just how much your sister loved you.
