Thomas Michael Tankersley Thomas Michael Tankersley, 47, of Groves passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on September 14, 1969 in Beaumont, Texas to Houston Lee Tankersley and Linda Conners Tankersley. Thomas was a lifelong resident of this area and was self-employed as a commercial fisherman. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening before the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Theresa Tankersley. He is survived by two sons, Brandon Tankersley and wife Laurie of Port Neches and Randal Reed and wife Rebecca of Killeen, two sisters, Cynthia Lee Tankersley of Groves and Cathy Duthu and husband Kurt of Nacogdoches, seven grandchildren, Briona Tankersley, Casen Reed, Choas Reed, Riot Reed, Kalika Tankersley, Malachi Fontenot and Aurora Fontenot and three nephews, Dustin, Michael and Adam, and niece Mandy.
