Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Wayne Cross, 79, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2022, at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Reverend Rick Shreve. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on July 12, 1942, he was the son of William Thomas Cross and Doris Mae Hall Cross.
Tom was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of the Baptist faith. He retired from Equistar with 35 years of service where he was a Machinist and Maintenance Supervisor. Tom was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and playing golf was one of his favorite hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Lay.
He is survived by his wife, Karen LaRue Cross of Nederland, Texas; daughter, Dana Cappelletti and husband Ben of Mansfield, Texas; son, Darrin Cross of Montgomery, Texas; sister, Doris Ridinger of Dennison, Texas; and grandson, Austin Cross.
