Tim was a stand up type of guy. Tough but had a comical and pleasant personality. We went fishing at lake ray Hubbard so cold it was freezing ice on the lines as we fished. Tim talked me into going inside the boundary lines near the dam. Well of course the game wardens got us. They were kind enough to let us go without a ticket. Tim the told me hey man we can go to fair park tonight and catch some bass near the radio station. I said that is a no fishing area. He said well when lights from cars approach we jump behind the shrub and lie down. I never let him talk me into that. I said Tim are u nuts. He just laughed great guy and lots of good memories from the old days.

I still remember the first time he took me fishing in what I called his fold up boat. To start it off he had to teach me how to tie a jig on where it would float just right in the water and then I had to learn the distance u had to tie the second one on. I don't think I have ever heard jr your not doing it right you have to jig down not pull up on it. Then he starts fishing and as usual catches one after another then starts saying jr your not keeping up. I started ignoring him so the next thing I know everytime he catches one it gets thrown my way if it was too small. It would land right where I was fishing and he would then say jr I'm just trying to help you out. Man I'm gonna miss those days of it being 100 degrees and him drinking his coffee and eating Vienna sausages. I know he's fishing today and probably telling someone your not doing that the right way, if you do it my way you will catch more fish. RIP Tim

I feel the highest honor a law enforcement officer can receive at his passing is the simple statement, "he was a hardworking, honest and good cop" and Tim was certainly all of these. I pray Tim's family and friends can find peace and comfort during this time of sadness and sorrow in the blessings of our Lord.

Always so kind and loving. Love this man and how he loved Lola and his children and grandchildren. Tim had been my brother-in-law for over 30 years. So thankful we shared Jesus together several years ago and again this past summer. See you in heaven!
