Timothy Steven Nelson, 62, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Tim was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 14, 1959, to the late Richard Nelson and Delores Landry Nelson.

Tim was passionate about music, playing the guitar and harmonica. He was creative with his hands and enjoyed wood working and making crosses.

Those left behind to cherish Tim’s memory are his daughters, Dana Lankston and her husband, Aaron of Bay City, TX; and Jessica Darden and her husband, Bryan of Dallas, TX; fiancé, Tonya Jones of Groves, TX and her children, Amber and Joey Stelly; grandchildren, Valerie, John, Luke, Makensie, Abigail, Waylon and Wiley; brothers, Lindsey Nelson and his wife, Tina of Orange, TX; and Joey Nelson and his wife, Mirenda of Lumberton, TX.

A graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Pallbearers include; Kameron Stultz, Joey Stelly, Chad Schwaab, Jody Mason, Robert Stelly and Randy Rucker.
