Tiny Opal Crochet 84, of Beaumont, Texas died on Friday March 1, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born September 8, 1928 in Negreet, Louisiana. She was reared by Tom and Ella Waller. She was a long-time resident of the Beaumont-Port Arthur area. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother, one niece, two nephews and two sons, Dee Hollingsworth of Houston and Keith Hollingsworth of Port Arthur. She is survived by her two daughters Kathy West and husband Ron of Beaumont, Susie Walters and husband Danny of Beaumont, two sons J.R. Smith and wife Sandy of Houston and Kenny Hollingsworth and wife Nancy of Fannett, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, ten nieces and eight nephews. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the funeral home with Chaplain Jerry Fenter officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Garden of Jefferson County, Nederland.

Tiny was a special lady, thoughtful and caring. I have nothing but fond memories of her since I was a child. When I moved to Beaumont, she made sure to keep in touch with me and always wanted me to come visit her. I won't forget her kindness.
