Tony Herring 89, of Port Arthur passed away Friday June 12, 2015 in Port Arthur Texas. Tony was born in Clebit, Oklahoma on August 4, 1925 to Allen Herring and Martha Kincade Herring. He was a resident of Port Arthur for 65 years and a retired Switchman for Kansas City Southern Railroad. Tony was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Tony is survived by his wife Mattie Herring of Port Arthur, daughter Pamela K. LeBlanc of Port Arthur, sons Tony L. Herring and wife Rasa of Fort Myers, Florida and Ricky G. Herring Sr. of Woodville, Texas, six sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
