Tony Hollier, 53, of Port Neches, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. All services will take place at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. A Vigil/Rosary will be Sunday, December 23rd at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 24th, at 10 a.m., with burial following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Tony was born on February 3, 1959. He graduated from Port Neches Groves High School, Class of 1977, and was a proud member of the 1975 State Football Championship Team. Tony was a 32 year member and the longest standing officer on record of the IBEW Local 479. He served on the Sabine Area Central Labor Council (SACLC); IBEW 479 Pension and Annuity Trustee; and over 20 years on the Beaumont Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. Tony was an avid sports enthusiast whose passion was football. He made many lifelong friends through volunteering for sports activities as well as officiating for high school football. Tony had a generous and giving spirit. His heart was filled with love for his family and friends. He lived and loved unconditionally cherishing life's special moments. Another passion was youth. Tony dedicated a lot of time to the youth of St Elizabeth Catholic Church. He influenced and inspired many young people. Tony was preceded in death by grandparents, Felix and Leona Hollier, and nephew Ryan Allen. Tony is survived by his wife, Christa LeJune Hollier; parents: Roy and Veva Hollier; Son: Anthony Hollier and girlfriend Amy Groff; daughter: Angela Harrington and husband, Allen; granddaughters: Presley Harrington and Avery Stevens; brother, Tim Hollier and wife, Kelly; sister, Jolyn Watson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to express gratitude for everyone who has been a part of Tony's journey of life.
