It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Meaux Hargrave, who departed this life on July 24, 2026, in Galveston, Texas. Born on January 12, 1971, Tracy lived a life filled with love and devotion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Tracy found joy and expression in playing the flute, a talent that brought beauty to her life and those around her. Her world revolved around her beloved family, her faith community at church, and the comforting art of cooking, through which she nourished both body and soul for her loved ones. Her heart for serving others through her involvement in ACTS and within her family were of utmost importance to her. At her core, her servant’s heart was her brightest gift. These passions were central to her identity and brought her immense happiness.
Tracy's memory will be cherished by her devoted husband of 27 years, Brad Hargrave of Bridge City. She is also survived by her loving father, Ellic Meaux of Bridge City; her sons, Jacob Hargrave and his wife, Thao of Beaumont, Zane Hargrave of Silsbee; her daughters, Jillian Arnold and her husband, Preston of Orange, Janae’ Hargrave of Bridge City, and Justyn Hargrave-Landry and her husband, Brett of Bridge City and her grandchildren, Hayden Cane, Harlee Hargrave, and Harper Hargrave. She leaves behind her brother, Shannon Meaux of Bridge City, who will miss her dearly.
Tracy was preceded in death by her cherished mother, Karen Messer Meaux, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tee and Mary Hargrave. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tracy's life will be celebrated on Friday, July 31, 2026 with a Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m. to be held at St. Henry Catholic Church, 495 W. Roundbunch Road, Bridge City, Texas. A Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church.
