Rest in Peace, Scotty....Working in Engineering with him was rewarding...He had an endless pocket when it came to giving of charities, or giving of himself....You are truly missed...Bless your family and loved ones who are without your cheerful and heartfelt smile that was always there. May God feel their emptiness with your wonderment and memories.

I read this poem recently at my Grandma's funeral. It really hit home for me knowing that One FINE day, we would meet again. I pray it finds and blesses you Bergeron Family to know that Scott has a NEW and glorious body and that You will one day be with him again....The Broken ChainWe little know that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, The CHAIN Will Link Again. Our greatest Condolence,-Kris and Karli Nelson

My first memory of Scott and Debbie was at a valverde function..there was a game where you put your head on a bat and walked around and around the bat..then you had to walk across the room. Debbie was trying to walk and very dizzy but I noticed the sweet blonde guy that seemed to watch her every move...Im not sure if they were even engaged at that time but you could tell she was the one for him...After they were married and were newlyweds my daughter Ashlynn spent the night with them..She was about 3 or 4 and asked Debbie "Where is he sleepin". Scott said...well I guess on the couch...:) Tracy ivy.

I worked with Scott at St. Mary Hospital for several years. I'd see him in the hallways and he was always smiling and very friendly and polite. Our fellow employees have always been like family at St. Mary and Scott was one of us. I feel the loss and mourn with his wife, children, and family. Prayers that God will comfort them and ease their pain.

Prayers are with you Debbie, Macie, Austin and as always for Scott. I've known Scott for almost 40 years. I grew up with him as one of my mentors (and of course friend) at Friendship Baptist Church. He helped give me my love for snow skiing and for life. But most of all he helped me be a better man. No matter the length of time between seeing each other Scott would go out of his way to come to me for a hand shake or a hug. I never saw Scott without that smile on his face. A smile that would light up a city (not just a room) & it was always contagious. If I was having a bad day & I saw Scott somewhere no matter where we may be, his smile made my day better. I am honored to know Scott & he will always be in my mind, heart and prayers. God Bless!!! --Michael Whitney

I remember all the fun we had playing church league softball. He would always ask how to bat better. He wound up being an awesome batter. The better thing was he was an awesome Christian--that helped a person struggling like me. Gonna miss him. Bobby Beresford
