Travis Lee Shipley

Travis Lee Shipley, 58, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at a Private Nursing Care facility in Beaumont, Texas with his family at his side.

Travis was born on January 19, 1965, in Port Arthur, Texas to Katherine June Shipley and Robert Lee Shipley. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1983 and worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Nederland for the last two years. Travis loved motorcycles and enjoyed working on engines especially with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Timothy Darrin Shipley.

Survivors include his brothers, Terry Shipley and his wife Jolei of Nederland and Tracy Shipley and his wife Bevin of Buna, Texas; nieces and nephews, Christina Shipley Donahoe and husband Craig of Seguin, Texas, Lilei Shipley and Evei Shipley both of Nederland, Beau Shipley and Nate Shipley of Buna, Darrin Shipley of Tennessee and David Buffington of Houston; his aunt and uncle, Tom and Rita Harris of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

A Memorial Gathering will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland to Honor the Memory of Travis Lee Shipley.
