Travis P. �Val� Volentine, 79, of Nederland, passed away peacefully at his home in Nederland on August 16, 2010 with his family at his side. Memorial Service will be held at Levingston Funeral Home, 2001 Nall Street in Port Neches on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his home in Nederland immediately following the memorial service. Travis was the former Business Manager of the Pipe Fitter Local #195 and a loyal union member of the local for 62 years. Travis was a member of the Port Neches Masonic Lodge #1163 for over 50 years and a proud member of the Shriners Lodge. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Travis was also a faithful member of Mid-County Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawson and Moice Volentine, his older brother, Arvil Volentine, and his older sister, Bobby Ruth Moye. Survivors include his two sons, Anthony �Val� Volentine, Randall and Regina Volentine, and his two daughters, Jan and Keith Hamilton, Sandy Smith. He has eight grandchildren, Mindy Volentine, Heather Hamilton, Dustin Volentine, Stacey Uhorchak, Jake Hamilton, Kristen Volentine, Kolby Smith and Braxton Smith.
