Trudy G. Walker, 72, of Nederland, Texas passed away March 28, 2012 at the Community Retirement Home in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born November 29, 1939 in McAllen, Texas to Frank and Lorraine Stromat Green. She was a social worker for Port Arthur I.S.D.A funeral service will be held at Park Central Church of Christ in Port Arthur on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Services are under the ion of Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland.Trudy is survived by her husband, William quotBuzzquot Walker of Nederland daughter Denise Walker BiJeaux and husband, Johnny of Nederland 2 sons, Dennis Walker and wife, Denise of Port Neches and David Walker and wife, Ronnie of Central Gardens 5 grandchildren, Joel BiJeaux, Jamie Miller, Jared BiJeaux, Chandler Walker, and Jonathan Walker and 6 greatgrandchildren, Cameron Buchanan, Shea Miller, Madison Miller, Logan BiJeaux, Allie BiJeaux, and Aubrey BiJeaux. She is preceded in death by her parents.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jonathan Walker Relay for Life Fund at the Park Central Church of Christ.
