Ty Thomas Kennedy, 55, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Gulf Health Care in Port Arthur after a long battle with heart disease and circulatory issues.
He was born in Crete, Nebraska on September 25, 1965 to Leonard Kennedy and Jackie Adams Kennedy. After their passing, he was raised with his brothers in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
Ty was a resident of Groves since 2019 and was employed as a tile installer in California.
Ty loved to fish, play golf and be outdoors. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searches and singing to every song that came on the radio.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Marie Kennedy of Utah and three sisters, Karla Kennedy Robinson and husband Glenn of Groves, Texas, Kathy Kennedy of Florida and Kimeron Kennedy of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ty was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Kennedy, Todd Kennedy and Shaun Kennedy and sisters, Kirstin Rurak and Karmen Simmons.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
