Tyrone "Ty" Reynolds

Tyrone “Ty” Reynolds, 77, of Port Neches, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Ty was born November 22, 1939 in Red Bay, Florida to the late Grady and Ruby Hobbs Reynolds. The family moved to Texas when Ty was 5. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Lamar State College. Ty served for 12 years in the Army National Guard, 111th Engineering Battalion. He worked as an electrical estimator for Hinote Electric Company for 24 years and continued working at Gold Crest Electric until he retired in 2013.
Ty was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wynell Castille and brother, Huey Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Judy Reynolds of Port Neches, Texas; daughters, Cheryl Arlott and husband, David of Richmond, Texas and Cindy Landry and husband, Jason of Nederland, Texas; son, Keith Reynolds and wife, Christi of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Spencer Landry, Blake Chamberlain and husband, Clayton, Jacob Landry, Madison Reynolds, Macy Reynolds, Hannah Arlott and Alexander Arlott; mother-in-law, Agnes Totten; brother-in-law, Henry Totten and wife, Candice and sister-in-law, Janis Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Community in Port Neches, with Rev. Shane Baxter officiating, with the interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 with a Christian Vigil to be held at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Ivan Watson officiating also at the funeral home.
