Velma Gaspard

Velma Gaspard, 77, of Winnie, Texas passed away June 10, 2010. She was born in Morse, Louisiana on January 5, 1933 to the late Wilfred and Theresa LeBlanc. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Minos Gaspard and daughter Jada McAdams. She was the retired owner of Gaspard Nursing Home in Port Acres, Texas.She is survived by sons, Lee quotPetequot Burnell Gaspard and his wife Linda of Lumberton, Texas Michael Gaspard and his life mate Louis DeLena of Winnie, Texas Ricky Gaspard of Winnie, Texas and Billy Gaspard and his wife Cheryl of Ackworth, Georgia. Daughters Brenda Satterlee and her husband Jerry of Meterie, Louisiana Pat Kasseroler and husband Danny of Lumberton, Texas Christina Powell of Winnie, Texas and sister Beverly Davis of Groves, Texas 11 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home of Nederland on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 10:00a.m. 2:00p.m., with service beginning at 2:00p.m. with Father Dan Malain officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
