Verna Belle Balsano

Verna Belle Balsano, 92, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away January 25, 2010 at Harbor Hospicein Beaumont, Texas. She was born August 11, 1917 in Larned, Kansas to the late Vernon and Ellen Boyd McBeth. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nederland, Wesley Fidelis Sunday School Class, and the Golden Friends. She was the cherished aunt of Virgil and Rita McBeth. She will be missed by her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents her husbands, Donald Sparks and Joseph Balsano and brothers, Edward and Wayne McBeth.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Toney Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
