Verna Jane Hebert-LaSalle

Verna J. Hebert-LaSalle, 81, of Glen Rose, TX passed away on May 15, 2014 at Cherokee Rose Nursing Home. She was born on October 8, 1932 in Delcambre, Louisiana to the late Joseph Hebert and Elia Picard Hebert. She was a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area, and was a housekeeping manager for a nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Verna is survived by her sons, Barry LaSalle and wife, Beverly of Nederland and Darrel LaSalle and wife, Linda of Groves; daughters, Bonnie Theriot of Port Arthur and Darlene Lombardo and husband, Sam of Port Arthur; brother, Johnny Dale Hebert of Baytown; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Ray LaSalle; brother, Curnis Hebert; and daughter, Debra Ann Harris.
