Vernon Lee Logue, 84, of Port Neches, passed away on April 3, 2017 at his residence. Vernon was born on November 12, 1932 in Kellyville, Oklahoma to the late, Alva Logue and Catherine Archer Logue.
Vernon was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He was an electrician with 29 years of service at Chevron formerly known as Gulf Refinery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Joyce Logue of Port Neches; sons, Clint Logue and wife, Edna of Port Neches, Dr. Jeff Logue and wife, Tammy of Midlothian, Texas; daughter, Andrea Brown and husband, Jim of Palmer, Texas; brother, Glen Webster; grandchildren, Shannon, Caitlin, Tyler, Sara, Ashtyn and Brooklyn.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches, with Pastor Kurt Michaelson, Officiant. Burial with full Military Honors will follow the service at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
