Veronica Lynn Lake, 56, of Port Neches, passed away on August 16, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Reverend Bryon Harper.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Veronica was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on March 11, 1967, she was the daughter of Mervin Vidrine and Willa Fontenot-Vidrine. She was a private sitter always taking care of people. She loved going to the beach with her family. She loved plants, she had a green thumb always outside to mess with her plants. She was a strong woman she fought hard, but her body just wasn’t strong enough this time.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her two loving daughters, Chelsie Lake Guibeau and husband Michael of Nederland, TX; and Breeana Lake of Port Neches, TX; five grandchildren, Jaden Lake, Carter Lake, Peyton Deluna, and Thea Janeaux; five sisters, Cindy Vidrine, Julie Becker, Brenda Pace, Patricia Templin, and Polly Morgan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
