Vickie Lynn Finnerty, 56, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015. Vickie was born September 20, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to S. C. Rich and Helen Young Rich. She was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, S. C. and Helen Rich. Survivors include her husband, Edmund Burke Finnerty; three sons, E. B. Finnerty IV of Beaumont, Ryan Lee Finnerty and wife Jennifer Moore Finnerty of Groves, and Steven Patrick Finnerty and wife Elizabeth of Beaumont; one brother, Preston Rich of Louisiana; and granddaughter, Rhiannon Taylor Finnerty. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vickie even in failing health and struggles with every day pain. You cared for your family your children your husband LOVED them with such a big heart. Found joy in small children and found such happiness in caring for them. You will be missed and I know a room is waiting for you with a bright light on.
