Vicky Tamez

Vicky Tamez, 44 of Groves, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.A native and lifelong resident of the Port Arthur and Groves she worked as a sales clerk at Martini Hardware in Houston and also was a member of Lakewood Church in Houston.Memorial services for Vicky will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, in Nederland with Rev. Keith Beckman officiating.Vicky is survived by her Mother, Aurora Tamez of Houston six brothers, Gerardo Tamez Jr. and wife Debbie of Groves, Jaime Tamez of Groves, Tony Tamez and wife Sandy of Houston, Pilo Tamez of Port Arthur, Juan Tamez and Cathy of Groves, and Salvador Tamez of Palm Springs, California 2 sisters Sylvia Garcia and husband Armando of Groves, and Socorro Tamez of Houston. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerdardo Tamez, and her grandmother, Guadalupe Carrizales.Vicky39s family would like to thank the staff of Harbor Hospice, and Candace Dowdon for the care giving during her time of need.
