Victor Anthony Motte, 65, went home to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 22, 1949 in Port Neches, Texas to Milda and Moise Motte. Victor was a lifelong resident of Port Neches and a member of Journey Community Church. He retired from North Star Steel as a steel mill worker/welder after 39 years of service. A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.

A graveside service will be on Saturday morning, November 21, 2015 at 10:00am at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.

Victor is survived by his two daughters, Christina Clubb and her husband, Troy of Fannett, Texas., Sabrina Carmona and her husband, Chris of Lumberton, Texas.; brother, Wayne Motte and his wife Gloria; seven grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Elizabeth, Jake, Luke, Haley, Tyler and Brookelynn.

Named after my father, Victor Anthony Burkart, Vic always held a special place in my heart. Living far apart we didn't get to see each other much but I always looked forward to enjoying that sweet smile and distinct voice at family get togethers.
