Violet Margaret Boudreaux Klima

Violet Margaret Klima, age 88, passed away peacefully while in Hospice on December 18, 2014 after suffering a massive stroke.
Violet was born November 11, 1926 in Port Arthur, Texas to Louis and Louise(Hebert) Boudreaux and lived her entire life in Port Arthur. She was a telephone operator at The Texas Company where she met the love of her life, Jack Klima. Jack preceded her in death 34 years ago. She is survived by her daughters Kathy Kennady(Richard) Reno, NV, Vicki Klima Beaumont, TX, and Kelli Gooding(Brian) Georgetown, TX and sons Douglas Klima Kountze, TX, Michael Klima(Stacy)Port Acres, TX, , and Glen Klima Port Acres, TX. She was the Grandmother(Meemaw) of Jarrod Walsh, Jason Walsh(Tammy), Alexandra Klima, Brook Chichester(Richard), Brent Klima(Kourtney), Nicki Vara(Caleb), Jake Klima, Allie Klima, Colby Klima, Kyler Klima, and Conner Klima. She was the beloved great grand-mother of Kilee Moody and Calleigh Vara, step great grand-mother of Bryan, Shawn, and Barry Chichester and various nieces and nephews and Shelly Klima. She is survived by her loving brother James Boudreaux and preceded in death by her siblings Harry Boudreaux, Mildred Miguez, Woodrow Boudreaux, and Kenneth Boudreaux.
Our hearts mourn for the woman who took care of everyone, especially her family. The loving memories of happy times together will be in our hearts forever. The holidays and family gatherings will never be the same without your wonderful cooking and baking and your joyful and loving spirit. And especially you saying, “I don’t think it tastes good”!! You brought so much joy and love to your family. We pray for her ascension into a far more glorious world and her meeting with Daddy.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 26, at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627 at 5:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. The funeral will be at Melancon’s on Saturday, December 27 at 10:00 am with burial at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
