Virgie L. Vincent, 80, of Navasota, Texas passed away July 9, 2013 at her home. She was born in Zwolle, Louisiana on January 11, 1933 to the late Jack Martinez and Maggie Bebee Martinez. Virgie was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Badeaux celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
Virgie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Williamson; and her son, Rick Williamson. She is survived by her sons, Charlie Williamson and wife, Julie of Navasota and Gary Williamson of Nederland; sisters, Jackie Downs, Sandra Martinez, Bobbie Dunn, Gertie Bailey, Betty King and husband, Floyd, and Christine Henson; step-brother, Jessie Ebarb; step-sister, Rose Martinez; step-mother, Rita McComic; grandchildren, Charlie Williamson, Jr., Sonny Williamson, Joee Williamson, and Joshua Williamson; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Williamson, Grace Williamson, Bradyn Williamson, and Benjamin Williamson. She will be truly missed and loved.
