Virginia E. Roy

Virginia E. Roy, 89, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Virginia was born in Vidor, Texas to Cornelius Herbert Strode and Julia Fontenot Strode. She was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. J. Roy; and daughter, Ann Oyer. Survivors include her daughters, Julia Y. Saunders and husband Paul of Colmesneil, and Regina Lusignan of Mauriceville; son, Donald H. Hunter and wife Sandy of Wisconsin; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, July 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Anahuac Cemetery under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home.
