My name is Sandra Vaughan Merrifield, and I am writing this on behalf of my 98 year old father, Charles "Rex" Vaughan. We were both so sorry to find out that Virginia passed away. Both Melvin and Virginia Sangwin were friends of both my parents for many decades through their active membership at North End Baptist Church in Port Arthur. My Dad and I send our deepest condolences to her loving family. I remember Virginia as being a very sweet and lovely person. She is missed. May she rest in eternal peace. We are thinking of all of you, especially, you, Melvin. What a deep, personal loss. Sandra Vaughan Merrifield Charles Rex Vaughan

Mrs Virginia has been an example to me and I am no doubt a better person for having known and loved her. I will miss her much,,but I know that her hope as well as mine is in Christ Jesus. So looking forward to seeing her again in Glory.
