Wally Landry, 69, of Groves passed away, Friday, November 24, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Wally was born September 14, 1948, in Houston to the late Wallace S. Landry Jr. and Luella Blanco Landry and lived all of his life in Groves. He retired after 34 years of service from Huntsman in Port Neches as a Maintenance Coordinator. He also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Groves Knights of Columbus Counsel 3491.
Wally is survived by his wife, Dianne of Groves; his children, Dawn Johnson and husband, Kasey of Nederland, Trey Landry and wife, Barbara of Port Neches, Kelli Deloney and husband, Jamey of Montgomery; his brother, John R. Landry of Groves; his grandchildren, Kameron, Hayden, Reid, Hadley, Landry, Raleigh, Adaline, and Ruby. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Wendy Landry and brother, Donald Lee Landry.
A gathering of the family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
