Wanda was our Sunday School teacher at First United Methodist Church in Groves. An excellent Bible teacher. She is so special in my heart. My weary soul was beat up from life from age 18-26 when I knew I was missing a relationship with God. I walked into Wanda's class and introduced myself as a single mother. With her loving eyes she welcomed me and said I will pray for you a husband. My response was NO! But as time and years went by I met my husband at Lamar, both of us in the same studies, and Nick started attending Wanda's class too. She TRULY had the greatest spiritual impact on my life. I love her and know she's in our Savior's arms in her new beautiful body. Love and prayers to her precious family. She will ALWAYS be remembered as a Child of God, and His teacher.

Wanda was the most amazing lady in the world. She loves the Lord more than anything in this world, and she made sure the ones around her knew about the Lord she will truly be missed. I loved her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of need.

I am so sorry to hear of Wanda's passing. She was a wonderful individual with a great love of people. I taught with her at NHS for many years. She loved all her students and fellow teachers and went above and beyond to help all of them. She was beautiful soul. Thad I remember when you two got married and she was so happy to have you in her life! May the God of love hold you in His hands during this time of grief and console you in the days ahead. Love Dotti Curl
