Wanda Joyce Brooks 80, of Port Arthur died Friday June 24, 2016 at her residence. Wanda was born April 6, 1936 in Matador, Texas to Willie Earl Hendrix and Beulah Lee Hendrix. She was a resident of Port Arthur for 45 years. She was a homemaker, artist and interior decorator. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas followed by a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Kenneth Powell officiating. Wanda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel R. Brooks of Port Arthur, two daughters Debra Killian and husband Alan of Nederland, Autumn Hibbits and husband Thomas Hibbits II of Nederland; one son Daniel Brooks and his wife Amanda Cavazos Brooks of Alice Springs, Australia; and grandchildren, Michael Mellema, Chelsea Carlin, Zachary Killian, Austin Randall, Victoria Brooks, Daniel Brooks, Jr., Chase Brooks and Mia Carlin.
