Wanda Lee Carr Caraway, a dedicated individual who spent 6 years contributing to various departments at Kmart, has peacefully passed away at her residence in Port Neches, Texas. She was born on June 1st, 1940, in Beaumont, Texas. Wanda will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Throughout her life, Wanda's kind and compassionate nature shone through in all that she did. Her faith in the Baptist beliefs guided her path, and she found solace in serving others and the art of cooking. These passions brought joy not only to herself but also to those lucky enough to have experienced her generosity.
Wanda leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by many. She is survived by her loving son, Richard Caraway and wife, Kelli of Port Neches and her devoted grandson, Hunter Caraway of Port Neches. In the hearts of her surviving family and friends, Wanda's memory will forever live on.
In loving memory, Wanda is reunited with her beloved husband of 62 years, Eloyd Caraway, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms upon her peaceful passing., as well as, her dear sister, Helen Francis Carr Caraway.
A visitation will be held on April 10th, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM at 2001 Nall St in Port Neches, Texas. Following this, a Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 AM at Oak Bluff Memorial Park located at 618 Block Street in Port Neches. The service will be a reflection of Wanda's life and the love she shared with those around her.
Wanda Lee Carr Caraway touched the lives of many with her kindness and grace. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was loved deeply and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
