Gene was truly a unique person who touched lives in so many ways. He left an extended family who continues to pay tribute to his and Annie's legacy as they contribute their talents around the world. He is the last of my mother's brothers, both of which changed the world in their own ways. Gene will be missed. Sid and Carol Hodges.

May good memories sustain all of Warren's loved ones through this time of loss. I regret our family can not come to the service due to upcoming travel and work demands. Know we are there in spirit with love and sympathy.

Dad was wonderfully unique and did not want anyone to have any trouble figuring that out straight away. He had many professions during an amazing lifetime ... chemist, tree surgeon, ship fitter, welder, reserve policeman, and he was even a very small businessman .... but always larger than life! So many things could be said, but the most important I think is that he married Mom and they passed on as best they knew how an abiding faith in God that will continue to sustain us.

I had the pleasure of being a son to my dad for 56 years. Many a time he had me cutting down trees or spraying them for bugs as I grew up and I would not trade that for anything. I spent a few days with dad before he died and I know he was prepared to go. He will be missed.
