Wayne Stark, 64 of Port Neches passed away November 1, 2022 at his residence.

Wayne was born December 27, 1957 in Port Arthur to the late Kenneth Harlin Stark, Sr. and Gloria Concienne Stark. Wayne retired from DuPont Beaumont Works as a Lead Operator with 35 years of service. Wayne was an outdoorsman and could be found hunting and fishing on any given day. He loved his children and especially his grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by his children, Erika Stearman and her husband Justin of Corsicana, Chase Stark and his wife Christine of Groves and Chelsea Stark of Nederland; his siblings, Sheron Mallory of Nederland, Kenny Stark and his wife, Linda of Katy, Rene LaHaye and her husband Paul of Beauxart Gardens, Charlotte Melancon and her husband Craig of Beauxart Gardens, Phillip Stark and his wife Shirley of Beauxart Gardens and Brent Stark of Nederland; grandchildren, Madison, Rylan, and Mason Franklin; Jaxson Campbell; Nolan, Jaime, Margot and Knox Stark; great grandchild, Tate Jackson.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, also his sister, Carolyn Boneaux, brother-in-law, Jerry Mallory and sister-in-law, Dana Stark.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland. A Celebration of Life “Memorial Service” to Honor the Memory of Wayne Stark will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
