bWilbert John Theriot, Sr., 81, of Nederland, Texas, passed away surrounded by family and friends on September 5, 2008 at Pine Arbor Health Care Center in Silsbee, TX.Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lillian Theriot of Nederland son, Will Theriot and wife Mary of Buna daughters, Mary Smith and husband Don of Buna, Carla Spell and husband Buddy of Buna, Sheila Underwood and husband Daren of Dripping Springs. Wilbert is also survived by his brother Nolan Theriot of Port Neches seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, Gooch and Odelia Theriot.Wilbert retired from Texaco Island in Port Arthur and was a World War II and Korean War veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 9, at 2:00 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland, with Father David Placette officiating.
