William “Bill” E. Bares, 65, of Nederland, Texas passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on June 29, 1953 to the late Thomas O. Bares, Sr. and Delores Faye Nuckols Bares. Bill worked for Iron Workers Local 135 for 20 years.

Those left to cherish Bill’s memory are his daughters, Delores Faye Smith and her husband, Jamie of Port Neches and Kandice Faye Borling and her husband, Peter of Beaumont; his sons, Christopher P. Hussey and his wife, Crystal of Port Neches and Kevin J. Hussey and his wife, Robbi of Nederland; his former wife, Patricia Bares; his sister, Dianna Harvill and her husband, John B. of Beaumont; his brothers, Thomas O. Bares, Jr. of Nederland, David Bares of Nederland, and Roy Bares and his wife, Felicia of Nederland; his granddaughter, Jacelyn Smith; and his grandson, Alexander Borling. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Bares.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service being held at 11:00 a.m., with Father John Hughes, officiant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

So bereaved and expressing profound sympathy at the loss of Bill--a father, brother, loved one and good friend. His smile, affection, & love of Elvis will be so missed. We have many good times to reflect on from celebrations or just Saturday nights. Bill is Charlie's childhood friend & I cannot believe I've known him almost 3 decades.
