William Michael "Mike" Briggs beloved husband, father, and papa died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. Mike was born September 2, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas to Willie Theodore Briggs and Mildred Lee Riley Briggs. He was a lifelong resident of the Port Arthur area. He obtained his degree in Pharmacy at UT and had retired from Eckerd Pharmacy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. Surviving relatives include his wife, Connie Briggs; daughter, Michaelanne Briggs and husband Grant Nakashima all of Georgetown, Texas; son, Byron Briggs and wife Lyndi of Athens, Texas; sister, Sharrone Sprague; brother, Ted Briggs and wife Liz all of Missouri City, Texas; grandchildren, Sydney, Dylan, Seth, Sam, Sophie and Sadie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Briggs. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at the funeral home.

Connie, We know Mike will be missed a great deal-and I know he had a grand reception with all the people that are there to great him.
