William "Bud" Gray

1925 ∼ 2016

William "Bud" Gray, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Mr. Gray worked for Gulf Oil for 35 years in the instrument department and also proudly served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Peggy Massey Gray; daughter, Misty May of La Marque; son, Perry Gray and his wife Donna of Orange; two grandsons, Joshua May and Gavin Gray; sisters-in-law, Frances Ferrell-Huber, Lois Davidson Streetman, Margaret Dupuis, and Betty Massey; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Nederland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to: Groves Senior Citizens Center, 5649 W. Washington, Groves, TX 77619.

Sending my condolences. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the visitation this evening. I have fond memories of "Uncle" Bud and Daddy talking about old times in Oklahoma, tales from The Gulf, and some great hunting stories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
