I'm so sorry to just now hearing of billy passing. He was a good friend for many years and always there to lend hand or help when he could. His life was always full of helping anyone that asked..I'll always remember coming home and billy being there waiting in his truck to visit and mess with whatever needed fixing on his mower or radio. I always admired his ability to talk and make friends with anyone who would talk back with him.. a braver person than I ..maybe I'll hear him on the airwaves just chatting away in heaven.. we'll miss you billy"crazy horse".. love Paul..Ashley..tawney..Alex...yancey

I don't know any of Billy's family, but I've known Billy since we were little kids. We lived on Gulf Ave, and Billy pretty often wandered in that area since it was only a block off of Doyle. My earliest memory of him is that he was eating some grapes, and he stuck a few on the fronds of our palm tree. Must've been about 1964. In 1979 I bought a small Honda motorcycle from him. Used to hitch a ride to high school with Billy, too. Last time a saw him was at the funeral of a mutual friend's mother, just a couple of years ago. He never changed, just a really friendly guy who made you feel happy. He lives on in our memories. To the family, I hope the memories you are able to share in the coming days bring many smiles through your tears.

Dearest Carolyn, Keith and Connie, We offer our deepest sympathy over the sudden loss of our sweet and gentle Billy. As Bill enters into that place of eternal peace, it must be comforting to feel that he is, once again, in the protecting arms of his beloved Mom, Dad and Lord. Unburdened by worldly tribulations, oh, don't you know that Billy is blissfully joyful. Love always,
