William G. Lenoir, Jr. William "Will" G. Lenoir, Jr., 81, of Port Neches died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at his home. He was born on July 17, 1928 in Philadelphia, Tennessee to William G. Lenoir, Sr. and Helen Hudson Lenoir. . William graduated from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Political Science and he served as a Captain in the U. S. Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. He and his wife, Beverly, were the owners of Beverly's Restaurant in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church,( 2425 Nall Street (TX 365) Port Neches, Tx., 409-722-6238) with The Reverend Cliff Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. William was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Lenoir, brother, Richard "Bo" Lenoir, and two step-sons, Randy Loftin and Kenneth Loftin. He is survived by his step-children, Sherrie Roberts and husband, Larry of Vinton, La., Karen LeJeune and husband, Terrell of Ivanhoe, Tx., Kathy Dubois and husband, Wayne of Port Arthur, Tx., Kellie Holmes and husband, Mark of Port Neches, Tx., and Keith Loftin and wife, Patty of Port Arthur, Tx.; sisters, Sarah Hilten, Helen Louise Childress, and Evelyn Marie Chandler, brother, Henry Lenoir, thirteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for their special care.
